John Travolta’s movie career has been quite extensive. His career may have been one of the most interesting on record however, as he had a large gap in his career from the 1980′s to early 1990′s but made a huge come back.
We did a telephone interview with Mr. Travolta from his hotel suite back in 1989 when he was visiting outside of Toronto on the set of; ‘The Freshman”, a movie also starring; Marlon Brando and Matthew Broderick. I was impressed by his interest in Toronto as he asked me; “Where is your favorite dinner spot in the city”? I told him at the time; “I enjoyed The Sutton Place Hotel’ s Penthouse Cafe – that use to be a beautiful place for fine dining and desserts”. He promised to visit the cafe. We also spoke of his love of flying, and briefly about his movie career and his hope to be able to record another musical album.
